Baxter

Baxter is a 6-year-old Cavachon (Cavalier King Charles Spaniel/Bichon Frise mix) with a heart full of love to give. He enjoys playing with his foster dog siblings, loves attention from his people, and is happiest when his family surrounds him.

Baxter is a true cuddle bug and can be a bit of a velcro dog. If you're looking for a loyal companion who wants to be by your side, Baxter is your perfect match. Whether he's curled up next to you on the couch or following you from room to room, he loves being with his people.

His previous owner shared that Baxter does best in a home where someone is home much of the day or where he has another friendly dog for companionship. He enjoys having company and thrives when he isn't left alone for long periods.

Baxter came to us with veterinary documentation showing he has IVDD (Intervertebral Disc Disease). He also has arthritis in his back and luxating patellas--no surgery recommended. Our veterinarian believes his IVDD is a very mild case, and Baxter continues to enjoy a happy, active life. He loves running around the yard, playing with other dogs, using the doggy door, and relaxing on the couch or in his favorite cozy spot. He has medication available should he ever experience a flare-up, but overall he does very well.
