Charity's story...
Charity is a former mill mama who is 8 years old. She is deaf and she
responds to visual cues but needs special attention. She came to us at 29 pounds, but believe she is down to 25 pounds and much more comfortable in her skin. She sleeps in the big bed with her foster siblings and loves to sit next to you on the couch. She is housetrained, but occasionally has accidents if the owner does not keep her on her schedule.
She needs a securely fenced-in yard preferably with a dog door. She is
extremely smart and has taught herself how to use the dog door. She is currently
leash walked at her foster home with multiple walks for potty a day. She likes
her foster siblings, but loves attention and will seek it out. A home with another
dog would be preferable, although she would be a great only dog. She is up to
date on her shots and is murmur free. We prefer Virginia applicants and a
home visit and vet reference is required. For more information and an
application, please email cavalierrescuecoalition@gmail.com.
