It has been a busy summer and we have missed letting you know what we've been up to! We have taken in 4 dogs since Charity was adopted in July. Hope and Chance joined us, escaping the puppy mill they were in.
Meet Hope! She's a mill mama learning to live the good life with her foster family. She loves snuggling with her foster mom, fits right in with the pack, is nearly housebroken, and is learning to go up and down stairs. She's one smart cookie! Hope is 7 yrs. old and heart clear. She will be available for adoption once she is spayed.

Meet Chance. He is 8 yrs. old and came from the same mill as Hope. Chance has a grade 4 murmur but doesn't require meds at this time. The cardiologist has cleared him for his neuter which will hopefully be done soon. Chance will require a family with patience and no children. While his foster family is making progress, Chance is still leery of people. He's learning to walk on a leash and do stairs. Chance loves his foster sisters and would love to have another dog in his forever home. Stay tuned for updates on Chance.

Martin and Jennie, a bonded, 11 year old brother-sister pair from New York. They came to us because their humans had to go into skilled nursing care. They are taller Cavaliers and at their ideal weight for their size. They are an absolute joy to foster. They are blossoming in foster care as Martin was on seizure meds coming into rescue. After reviewing his medical history, our vets determined that Martin had no reason to be on seizure meds. He is like a dog half his age now! He loves to run and play, but also lounge in the yard in the sun. He loves to go for walks as does Jennie.

Jennie is a gorgeous tri-color girl who just has a touch of dry eye which requires just saline drops twice a day in her left eye. Her coat is just beautiful in our opinion. She is being treated for chronic ear infections and her new owners will have to make sure her ears are cleaned often to prevent more infections. She can be vocal when she wants attention, food or treats. We like a girl that knows what she wants!

They are heart clear which is amazing at 11 years old and healthy. They are up to date on all vaccinations. Are you the perfect person to give them a happy every after?
